Despite the urgency to implement and adopt this new practice paradigm, the integration of evidence into practice continues to be perceived as challenging and burdensome and, as such, is often delegated, avoided, or ignored; Much of the distress related to implementing and sustaining EBP in organizations stems from a lack of EBP knowledge, skills and/or attitudes across the system, from executive suites to the bedside (Melnyk and Fineout-Overholt p 236 2015). The Audience for EBP proposal is all the member of the interdisciplinary team for the ESRD community. This will include any member that converse with a patient. The strategy to disseminate the proposal to most members with be at the staff and quality assurance meeting. At the meeting some statistics will be given and evidence that was found from other researchers.

The audience for this proposal is the therapy network of the organization as they are the ones who will be responsible for accepting, planning, and implementing the project. This network is an interprofessional team of psychiatrists, psychologists, trained counsellors, nurses, social workers, and various non-therapist support members. It is also important to ensure the organizations referral sources and patients are aware of the program once the proposal has been approved.
When disseminating the proposal, it is important to have a robust communication plan that emphasizes why the project is needed, demonstrates that it is practical and achievable, and provides details about the implementation plan so that the stakeholders understand what to expect and what is required from them to make it successful. A key strategy will be to highlight how iCBT aligns with their goals of helping all referred individuals and not turning anyone away, and that iCBT provides an opportunity to help alleviate their current challenges in the restricted number of patients they can support because of their insufficient number of professionals trained to provide in-person CBT.
The proposal will be presented during one of the monthly team meetings so that team members have an opportunity to discuss the proposal and ask questions. A small interprofessional subgroup will be formed to lead the project and keep team members informed throughout the planning and implementation process. Updates will be provided during weekly huddles and added to the communication board to maintain visibility throughout the project. To disseminate information to patients and community referral sources, the team will create an information pamphlet about the program and referral process.
