Guidelines
1.This Alternative Assessment requires the use of academic literature to support your arguments and critical discussion. To establish the breadth of critical discussion, a minimum of 8 (eight) journal articles should be discussed within your work, in addition to other academic texts.
2.A formal writing style is required. Write in the third person.
3.Length of Assessment = 3400 words. The word count includes Introduction, Main Body/Discussion, Conclusion. The word count does not include Assessment Cover Page, Table of Contents and List of References. Please indicate the word-count of your assessment on the Assessment Cover Page (copy uploaded to the Supplemental Folder in the Brightspace module).
4.Assessment should be typed – font size 12; one-and-a-half-line spacing.
5.Section headings – font size 14 or 16, use of underlining and italics permitted
6.The assessment should include:

Table of Contents with page numbers
Introduction
Main body/discussion with section/subsection headings
Conclusion
List of References
7. Pages should be numbered consecutively.
8. Tables and diagrams may be used.
9. The New Oxford English Dictionary should be used as a reference for all spelling and hyphenations.
10. Please ensure that your work is fully referenced. A List of References must be supplied and students should refer to The Reference Handbook on Brightspace for further details regarding referencing conventions.
11. Articles can be located by accessing https://tudublin.ie/library/ ->SearchAll or databases (e.g. Business Source Complete, Emerald Premier).

13. Please attach a completed Assessment Cover Page with your assessment.
14. Journal article readings identified in the TEM Powerpoint lecture presentations on Brightspace may be considered as potential sources for the Assessment, if relevant.
15. Assessments are to be submitted online in the MANG9001 Brightspace module by 12 noon, Tuesday, August 26th 2020.
