IT entails an employer being open to flexible work arrangements such as alternative scheduling, telecommuting, and compressed worksheets. a competitive advantage is gained through providing employees with opportunities to achieve work-life balance so they will remain productive and contribute to the company. Secondly, performance measurement is when the system periodically enable rating of employee job performance through annual evaluations, disciplinary warnings, and improvement plans.These can encourage employees to strive for higher levels of performance when they realize their employer-has interest in their success. Thirdly, compensation incule salaries ans wages that help to keep their employees who believe their compensation and benefits are fair and will think twice before leaving the company. HR ensure that having a sound compensation structure help to increase the company’s appeal to employees, giving it a competitive advantage from an employee retention perspective.
Technology can help a company’s ability to coordinate it’s activities regionally, nationally, and globally. It can unlock the power of broader geographic scope to create competitive advantage. Technology is helping reframe a business landscape.

Recruitment is very important in organizations today. I say this because when looking for the right candidates you want to find the best skills and knowledgeable person to fill the positions but you also want to have a plan in place to do so. Strategic planning that includes developing recruitment initiatives at schools before graduation is one way to give employers a competitive edge over others in the industry. Having open houses and small scaled events would also provide potential candidates to look closer at your organization. Another option is having employee referrals programs to attract candidates with similar values as the current employees.

Technology has really enhanced selection options for employers. They get to see and attract the best talent more easily. In order to do this you must be able to market and advertise the positions on the internet. This has been a growing trend that many organizations benefit from and are able to see what type of characteristics, personalities, attitudes, and behaviors are displayed first hand. Technology has made it easy for candidates to connect with interviewers. The process is great and allows me and others to build a relationship during the recruitment process. Using technology has saved time to recruit candidates and their tasks needing to be completed. At a click of the button the internet creates room to advertise vacancies. The access to job candidates is so efficient that it does not matter if the job candidate lives half-way across the world, they can be reached. Recruiters have the option to do interviews through video or teams. Being able to automatically track applicants is just a few of the powers of having artificial intelligence.
