Anatomy and Physiology
Take a moment to creatively view the world around you. When viewing your environment, look to see if you can see a representation of an anatomical feature. Take a photo of what you see. Then create a copy of that photo, leave one photo unedited and edit the copied photo to include an outline of the anatomical feature you see. Then search online or through the course content, for an image that resembles the anatomical structure you identified.
You must embed the three images into the thread you create. One image is a photo of the anatomical structure, the second photo is an annotated version of the photo outlining the anatomical structure you identified, the third picture is a reference image (of actual anatomical structures) to support submission. Click the Insert/Edit image in the upper left corner of the message box. Do not attach the images to the messages. Submissions with attached images will not receive a zero as a grade for the assignment.
To insert an image, click “Insert”, then a pop-up will prompt you with the options to choose where to upload the file, choose “Image” then choose “Upload Files”, then another pop-up to your computer files will be presented, there you can identify the image in the saved files on your computer. Be sure to add a description and a title to the image.
After formatting the three images into the thread, provide a brief description of your findings, and justify your submission by providing specific details about how the image evokes an anatomical structure. Write a convincing description so that other students and I can easily identify the anatomical structure.
Students may not submit an image of the following:
Artwork designed to represent an anatomical structure.
Any part of the human or animal form.
Media crafty to represent an anatomical structure.
An image or concept submitted by another student, prior to your submission date.
Submit an image of a subject that was already submitted prior (this includes the provided examples).
To earn full points submission must be :
Posted on time.
Be an original posting
Meet the requirements specified above.
Include a brief introduction describing the subject.
A description of each inserted image.
Four examples are provided, please use these examples as a template for your submissions. Failure to meet the described requirements will result in a zero for the assignment. The syllabus states there are no makeup assignments for this course. All assignment due dates are firm.
