Locate a current news article (no more than 6 months old) that discusses human trafficking (e.g., rescuing victims, provision of services for survivors, prosecuting traffickers, adapting new human trafficking legislation, economics of human trafficking, etc.). The article can be found on any Internet news source (e.g., CNN, Wall Street Journal, Google News, USA Today, Miami Herald), online magazine, or newspaper. The article should be appropriately referenced and cited in-text but does not count as the scholarly source required for the assignment.
2. Briefly summarize the article.
3. Analyze how this article is important to society. Describe who this event impacts and how. Assess and examine its significance.  
4. Discuss how the events described in the article relate to the topics or subtopics explored in class thus far. This is your opportunity to contextualize the article (hint: textbook connections are important here).
