To gather valuable information, evaluations and testing's having a psychological component are conducted. There are a variety of forms in doing assessments: clinical and genetic interviewing (in the beginning stages) intelligence testing (learning disorders), brain imaging (cognitive functioning, mental and emotional). This helps in finding solutions from the information on the availability of troubles from the individual.
In understanding the proper treatment and diagnosis, testing on a psychological level is critically important for each individual. Testing places a narrowed down experience given that there are several different disorders. It is always important to know the focus of the assessments, especially dealing with group scenarios and their own agenda.
The lack of consensus raises an ethical issue, because if a treatment is selected based on an inaccurate functional analysis it is likely to be unsuccessful, and the behavioral analysis practitioner will, by his or her own standards, have behaved in a professionally incompetent fashion (Leslie, 1997). With the assumption of testing being done without an ethical relation dilemma, another factor to think on is sexual bias. The incongruences that characterize equivocal, simultaneously undetermined and predetermined sex/gender classifications can be accompanied by challenges which extend from the moment of operationalization to the application of findings because they are often tied to artificial norms, stereotyping, and stigmatization (Schellenberg, 2019).

Measurements are defined as an implication of rules for assigning a number to objects. The rules refer to the specific procedure used to transform qualities in numbers. There are three important properties of the scale of measurement: magnitude is when a particular instance represents a more, less, or equal amount of the quality being analyzed. Equal Intervals this property refers to equal intervals between two points at any point on the scale that have the same meaning, this property is rarely used in Psychology when these intervals are found on the scale the outcome can be described by a straight line. The last property is the Absolute 0 and this happened nothing of the property measure exits. This can also be measured using different types of scales Nominal Scale, Ordinal Scales, Interval scales, and Ratio scales (Kaplan & Saccuzzo, 2017).
The testing Standard and codes attempt to establish a higher normative standard for a broader range of professions. Lately, there has been an increase in public awareness of ethical issues, a variety of new proposed and actual uses of assessment for accountability purposes, and the commitment from the profession to safeguard the public some important issues addressed (Camara, 1997). A thorough understanding and consideration of potential consequences can substantially reduce inappropriate use and result in ethical issues some in the list include: The adverse impact on minorities and women, discouraging and ‘institutionalizing’ failure for individuals – teaching to the test and limiting curriculum and learning, etc. The first formal ethics code for any profession using assessment was adopted by American Psychological Association in 1952 and addressed the following issues of test use: the qualification of the test user, the responsibility of the psychologist sponsoring the test used, principles and responsibilities, and qualification of the test publisher, the description of the test in manuals and publications and the security of the testing materials (Camara, 1997).
Assessments have a wide use: they are used to evaluate individual differences and variations among individuals. To gather information, to test human ability, classify people and place them in the appropriate education or in the appropriate job position, and diagnose and treat Psychological problems (Kaplan & Saccuzzo, 2017).
