The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the major responsibilities of human resources management (HRM). Students will select an organization in need of change and make recommendations to manage the change through integrating the major responsibilities of HRM.
The major responsibilities of human resources management (HRM) are to attract, develop, and maintain a quality workforce.
Presentation
As a team, research an organization that is in need of a change (AMAZON) and present how the team will manage the change process by incorporating the three essential responsibilities of HRM, focusing on one subsystem that requires change within the organization. For more information, reference Figure 2.4 in the Management portion of the textbook (Uhl-Bien, M., Piccolo, R.F., Schermerhorn, J. R. & Bachrach, D.G. (2021). MGT-420 organizational behavior and management with WileyPLUS. Wiley & Sons.).
The team is required to create a PowerPoint presentation of 15 to 18 slides (including a title slide and references slide). (I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FIRST 8 SLIDES)!!

Overview of the Organization:
Slide #1.) Provide an overview of the chosen organization.
Slide #2.) Justify the choice of the organization.
Slide #3.) Identify the change needed and how the issue has impacted the organization.
Slide #4.) Organizational Subsystems in Need of Change Within the Organization:
Slide #4 : Identify three of the subsystems in the organization that relate to the needed change that was identified.
Slide #5 : Of the three subsystems chosen, identify the main subsystem that failed and led to the problem.
Slide #6 : Provide a justification or explanation for choosing the subsystem for change.
Impact of the Proposed Change on Two Other Organizational Subsystems:
Slide #7 : Discuss how the proposed change will affect the other two subsystems identified.
Slide #8 : Discuss any system realignment that may result from the changes proposed.

A clear explanation of the ethical standards of the organization and whether they differ from enacted practices, including a discussion of whether the organization practices corporate social responsibility and how this creates a competitive advantage, as well how these practices impact the stakeholders, is provided. Proposal for how the organization should attract the human resources required to bring about the change, including discussion of specifics of this effort as instructed in the assignment, is thorough and well-integrated. Examples and personal insights are used to further understanding. Supporting material is of exceptional quality and quantity.
