Oral Presentation & Google Form Questionnaire (100 points for the presentation, 50 points for the google form)

Corresponding Google Form Questionnaire due by Monday, August 9th at 11:59pm Students will create a 10 – 15 minute PowerPoint presentation of an intervention reading program that is currently being used with students with reading problems or reading disabilities, and video yourself giving the presentation. In this presentation, you should provide an overview of the programs target population, the general instructional approach, training required to use the program, and especially the strengths and weaknesses of the program. It may be helpful to interview teachers who are using the program – feel free to include this in your presentation. I expect you to include pictures or scanned images of materials from the actual program in your presentation. For the presentation, you will video yourself and upload the video as an unlisted YouTube video. You will then turn the link in to me and I will post it in a discussion board for classmates to view. It is expected that each student watch their classmates’ presentations and complete the corresponding google form. This form will be posted on the morning of Saturday, August 7th and be due by 11:59pm on Monday, August 9th. After watching all of the Oral Presentations on the various reading programs, complete this google form to show your knowledge of the programs your classmates presented on.
