Critical Response Papers
Instructions
Students are required to submit 2,1 page critical responses to selected course readings. Critical responses must be typed(double-spaced, font size-12, Times Roman), addressing a course reading. Critical responses must have a thesis. In addition, students must develop claimsthat support their thesis. Lastly,students must support their claims with evidence from course readings or othercredible sources. An outline is providedbelow as a guideline. The due date foreach response paper is listed in the course outline section of thesyllabus. Students are free to choosefrom readings that are scheduled on the due dates. Late papers will not beaccepted. Students must submit theirfinal draft via the turnitin link posted in the content section (in theassignments folder) on blackboard. Consistent with the legacy of Africana Studies, this course demandsacademic excellence.
