I have attached the instructions from my professor in addition to 2 sample exams. Quoting the material is the best way to connect that material with your ideas and insights. To really connect the material with your creative response, you must at least have 2 quotes from each thinker. One quote is not enough to really develop the connections. That said, more than three or four quotes is probably excessive. Demonstrating a good knowledge and application of the material will result in a good gradea C or a B. In order to get an exceptional grade, you must not only show exceptional knowledge and application, but you must show creativity in that application. Creativity can be found in many waysin unique responses to the material, inventive application, or in drawing imaginative connections.
