A). Based on the EFT article (under course materials), what is the main goal of EFT? 

B) The article references to a suggestion that Minuchin made, "…we have to make family members healers of each other" (2012, p. 22).  What is your reaction to this?  How might EFT be a tool to help with this?

C). What is the connection between attachment theory and EFT?  Give an example of what this would look like in counseling. How would it present itself in an individual?  In a couple?  What would be the clues, so to speak, that attachment is an issue.

D) After viewing the video, What is Emotionally Focused Therapy? as presented by Dr. Sue Johnson, what did you find of most interest?  What was most appealing about it?

2) Online session 2: Watch the movie “Room” from 2015.  If the movie continued showing the family in therapy, compare and contrast how a Family theory would or would not work for mother, Jack and mom’s family, then briefly discuss your treatment goals.
