Post a substantive response of 400–500 words that addresses all of the following:Identify and explain at least three important criteria an organization should consider when selecting an EHR vendor/system (e.g., cost, usability, interoperability, vendor support, functionality, security features).
Compare two major EHR vendors (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, or Athenahealth). Discuss their strengths and weaknesses.
Describe two common EHR implementation models (Big Bang vs. Phased Approach). Explain the advantages and disadvantages of each.
Share your recommendation: Which implementation approach would you recommend for a small rural hospital versus a large multi-hospital system, and why?
Support your post with a minimum of two scholarly references (one must be from the assigned Week 3 readings, and one may be from a credible external source such as HIMSS, KLAS Research, or a peer-reviewed journal).
