CRJ331: Common Disorders in the Criminal Justice System
The goal of this activity is to reinforce the facts around some of the more common disorders seen in the criminal justice system by forensic psychologists. Each disorder has a flashcard with a brief definition from the American Psychiatric Association and a link to a fact sheet and diagnostic criteria from the American Psychiatric Association’s Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) . Understanding these disorders will help you better understand the role of the forensic psychologist when they encounter an individual with one of these disorders.
