Write a paper with a minimum of 1000 (1500 words max) words on a Western Medieval philosopher active before the time of, but including Anselm. MLA standards must be followed

For your chosen philosopher, do the following

Briefly discuss that person’s history, but include the historical context, something happening during and around this person’s life that should have been influential.

Discuss two or three philosophical theories or positions this person held you find interesting. Be sure to explain why you find these positions/theories interesting

Finally, discuss the viability of the positions/theories today. Can it be that these theories are still capable of doing what the person intended or explain what the person intended.

Because this is a mix of exploratory and argumentative, the thesis must clearly reveal the outline of the paper and then the paper must follow that outline.
