State whether you believe Marzano’s (2007) research-supported teaching strategies were effectively used to design the lesson plan for communication skills. The expectations of accountability for educators are divided into two primary types: the use of scientific-based research practices and the use of evaluation. This requires that school counselor professionals actively examine current research and analyze data to determine if that research applies to their specific school population and dynamics. However, we must be able to defend why we would or would not use the research to assist us in making decisions in our particular school.
Examine one peer-reviewed journal article for each school: a school with a low SES population, a culturally diverse school, and a school in a high-income district. Discuss why the data might differ in each journal article and may or may not apply to the population for each particular school type.
Cite how the school demographics might determine which scientific-based research would be relevant and why some might not apply, although they are valid. Write a 750-word essay in APA format, including a title page and reference page.
