Explain the differences between case management and brokering

Every year the State Legislature adjourns to address policy issues for the state. As social workers, we have an ethical responsibility to advocate and inform issues that are relevant to the clients we serve. Visit the Mississippi NASW website and look under the Advocacy tab. Locate one issue on this page that the Mississippi Chapter has adopted to advocate for or against. Research the issue. Write a paper giving a brief history of the issue being presented to the legislature; i.e., human trafficking, children and family services, etc. Include the number of the bill (H.B. 1523), who is authoring the bill (Senator Jones), what are the major components (Legislation proposing changes to Medicaid payments for mental health), and why is this relative to social work.
