" Located in Miami, HCA- Florida Kendall Hospital is a 447-bed acute care hospital that provides compassionate care to meet the needs of patients, families, and the diverse community of the Miami area. The Cohort Pilot Program allows 8 students to apply, and be selected, for a continuous clinical experience with HCA Florida Kendall Hospital. Selected students get the opportunity to acclimate to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital while learning about the facility's policies and procedures.  In addition to this deeper understanding, students will have the opportunity for incredible networking opportunities by interfacing regularly with staff and hospital administration.

The selected students will be enrolled in their clinical rotations available at HCA Florida Kendall Hospital for the entirety of the nursing program, starting in the Fall II 2024 term with your NURS121L-A course (Introduction to Medical-Surgical Nursing) and culminating in a possible precepted experience at the hospital.  For any rotations not offered by HCA Florida Kendall Hospital, students will submit preferences and be placed as per usual placement process, to then return to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital at the next available rotations."
