“You are the Chief Academic Officer (CAO)/Provost of a local university, and you have been asked by the Board of Trustees to create a research-based strategic plan that addresses the development of scholarship in the faculty population and provides a holistically inclusive organizational governance structure. The strategic plan must describe a clear and tangible plan for the following four key areas:
· What does research say about developing the scholarship of teaching?
· What is your specific, concrete plan for developing scholarship in your faculty at the university?
· What does research say about different organizational governance structures and their effectiveness?
· What is your specific, concrete plan for organizing the governance structure at your university?
Your ideas should be realistic, coherent, and precise, and should address all the required components in a research-based manner using text support and outside research to create a comprehensive training program.
The essay should be 2000- words and should include at least eight (8) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page so not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
