Get it written →The program that I’m pursuing does not require a dissertation. However, writing a dissertation isn’t an easy task and requires relevant resources and a supportive topic of interest. You must consider a strong thesis statement, and make sure your research question has not already been studied. More importantly, participants must understand the importance of key scholarly research concepts such as “comprehensive literature review, seminal studies, and peer review,” through which the information is needed to develop a focused research topic and offer an introduction to research in the discipline (Switzer et al., 2011). Furthermore, writing a problem statement is a complex step that involves multiple decisions that are influenced by numerous factors, however once established, a good problem statement lays the foundation and paves the way to a complete dissertation (Ali & Pandya, 2021). Another element that is relatively important is defending your dissertation. There are specific milestones to help assist with continuing to move forward in the completion of the dissertation. In addition, time management, careful planning, direction, and focus, will provide exactly what student needs to plan a dissertation, write each section of the dissertation, and information for the doctoral student to defend their dissertation research (Metcalfe, 2019). Though writing a dissertation involves gathering various amounts of information, you must remain focused on defending the topic of interest and providing rigorous resources for readers to discern the authenticity of the research versus just reading information that isn’t valuable information.
