As this course concludes, it is important to consider what readings, assignments, and approaches left the strongest (or perhaps weakest) impressions. While students are regularly asked to evaluate courses through blind (or private) course evaluation surveys, this exercise is a chance to share which parts of the course work best. What authors, concepts, or content did you prefer? What types of assignments and discussion would you suggest for future versions of this course or similar classes emphasizing Media Studies? Would a different medium be preferred, and if so, what and why?

Part 2

Students will reflect on the survey questionnaire process, and explore ways they or future scholars might modify or enhance the project. This is a reflection essay that should address each of the four phases of the questionnaire process (Weeks 1-4) as well as the limitations of the current version. The reflection essay should conclude with a proposal for how this data collection might be used and in what ways it might be altered to maximize results in a larger media studies-based research project.
