In your initial post, begin by introducing yourself to the class. State who you are, where you are from, and what is of particular interest to you in this course.

Assume you are interested in pursuing a career in the subfield of clinical or counseling psychology. In your post, identify which of the two subfields is of interest to you and use the information you gathered from the American Psychological Association articles to generate seven questions you would ask someone who is currently working in this profession. Question topics may be related to educational requirements, licensure, working conditions, finances, target populations, roles, responsibilities, challenges of the profession, etc.
