Describe strategies for reducing loneliness and its negative mind-body consequences
CASE STUDY 3
Jim has been an upbeat, positive individual. When things get stressful, Jim works actively to solve his stress and get it under control. Suddenly he has been diagnosed with MS. He is struggling to deal with this news. Please help him:

Classify personality traits related to optimism and health
Describe how optimism is related to mind-body health.
Describe factors that build or erode optimism.
Describe how optimism impacts coping with stress and change
CASE STUDY 4
Tom thinks that every time something goes wrong in his life, other people and events caused his suffering. It is always out of his control and he comes to you to help him understand how this outlook is impacting his choices (getting angry at others, not having many friends, and feeling helpless).
