Steps
In your browser, go to app.diagrams.net. Click on the “Start Now” buttom if exists. Then if there is a “Save Diagrams to” popup, select “Decide Later” underneath the options listed. Otherwise, after the web component is ready, click File > New and press “Create” button. Since this site keeps changing, your first step might be a little bit different. But basically you just want to lauch the design screen for you to create shapes.
Click “+ More Shapes …” on the lower left corner. Scroll down the left panel in the Shapes diagram till you see “Cisco” category.
Check “Cisco” under Networking category and click “Apply” button
Now you will see more choices representing Cisco devices in the left pane. You may need to scroll down to see them.
Drill down “Cisco/Routers” and click on a router. You will find that router is shown on the canvas.
Drag another router and drop on the canvas
Click on a solid line under “General” category. You will find the solid line is on the canvas. Connect one end of the solid line to one router and the other end to the other router
Now you finish a general diagram
Go to File > Export as > PNG
In “Image” pop up panel, click “Export” button
In “Save as” dialog you delete the string in the Filename field and define the file name as “mylan.png” and in the “Where” fieldselect “Download”. Click “OK” button. You will find the diagram is downloaded through your browser. You can find “mylan.png” file in your browser download folder.
