This assignment takes an iterative approach with the first three parts due in draft form in Units 3, 4, and 6. This will give you an opportunity to revise and expand your work based on feedback from your instructor before the final version is due in Unit 8.

At this stage, you will select the digital readiness indicators that you will use for the digital readiness assessment of your organization. You should select four to six digital indicators. The primary sources for the assessment indicators are The Six Dimensions of Digital Maturity™ and How to Measure Your Digital Readiness (p. 10 of the Deloitte article “Building Your Digital DNA”). Also, go back and review your prior discussion responses, articles, book chapters, and assignments. You will be describing each digital readiness indicator yourself based on definitions in the readings, lectures, and discussions posted in prior Units.

The organization that I have chosen to audit for my final project is a medium-sized non-profit organization known as Community Connectors. Community Connectors strengthens community relationships and improves local citizens’ quality of life. Our company organizes community activities, educational initiatives, and social services to empower people and develop resilient communities. We are well-established in our city after over a decade of service (Washington Mind’s Community Connectors Programme, 2022) and government agencies to acquire resources and support for our efforts. This varied funding base helps us be financially stable and provide community-impactful services and initiatives. As for my role within the organization, I am a Digital Engagement Coordinator. My tasks include administering the organization’s website, social media, and email newsletters. I create and curate content for community engagement, event promotion, and essential updates. I also work with colleagues to integrate digital tools and tactics into our programs and services. I have been in this position for two years, and my role matches my obligations. I’m passionate about using digital technology to expand our organization’s community impact.
