ECE Child Observation 3 – Social and Emotional Development

Social and Emotional Development includes how children express and label their feelings, self-concept, self-esteem, play styles, interactions with others, temperament, gender development, and morality.

In this assignment, you will observe a child between 2 to 11 years of age (Early or Middle Childhood). Use what you observe, such as samples of conversations, interactions with adults and children, how the child moves, climbs, and uses his/her body, how the child plays with toys or how the child expresses emotions, to complete the assignment form.
