Module 1 Discussion
Our Module 1 discussion topics are based on the required reading of Chapter 1, 2, 3, and 4 in the Rosenfeld, et al. book during Week 1 & 2.

Information Architecture plays an important role in facilitating your user to using a product to address their needs while having a good user experience. Reflect on the readings your completed during Week 1 and 2, what are your thoughts in one of the following topic?
Topic 1: What are some problems that information architecture (IA) can address that have not been described by the authors? Provide your own experience or other’s experience as support to make clear the role IA can play.
Topic 2: When you approach an information problem, what are the frameworks or methods you have used? Are there any intuitions/gut feelings you have/had that is similar or different to the most common principles/concepts described by the authors?
Topic 3: In the topics of information needs vs. information behaviors, how do think the traditional understanding of these may have been evolved or sustained? What are the factors that contribute to the change or unchanged needs/behaviors?
Topic 4: What are some of the best practices of designing that supports understanding when a user interacts with an information environment? Provide a clear example of what tools/medium the information is being presented and the design practice (within the last 3-5 years) that IA professionals should be aware of.
