The purpose of this presentation is to discuss the major responsibilities of human resources management (HRM). Students will select an organization in need of change and make recommendations to manage the change through integrating the major responsibilities of HRM. ***AMAZON is the organization***

As a team, research an organization that needs to implement a significant change and present how the team will manage the needed change by incorporating the essential responsibilities of HRM, focusing on one division or department (e.g., marketing, finance, production, logistics) that requires change within the organization. You will be recommending a change agent to bring about the required change. Note that a change agent can be an individual expert, an organization (e.g., a consulting firm), or a group of people. For more information, reference the assigned textbook readings for this topic. The team is required to create and present a PowerPoint presentation of 15 to 18 slides (including a title slide and references slide).
Address following in your presentation under the appropriate headings:

Provide an overview of the chosen organization.
Justify the choice of the organization.
Identify the proposed change needed and how the issue has impacted the organization.
Organizational Division/Department in Need of Change Within the Organization: ***AMAZON is the organization***
Identify three of the divisions or departments in the organization that relate to the proposed change that was identified.
Of the three divisions or departments chosen, identify the main one that failed and led to the problem.
Provide a justification or explanation for choosing the division/department for change. Include cited support for at least one other similar organization that addresses the identified problem well that your selected organization could look to for comparison.
Impact of the Proposed Change on Two Other Organizational Divisions/Departments: ***AMAZON is the organization***
Discuss how the proposed change will affect the other two divisions or departments identified.
Discuss any system realignment that may result from the changes proposed.

Identify any three stakeholders of the organization affected by the proposed change.
Explain how the proposed change will satisfy each of the three stakeholders identified.
Human Resource Practices: Recruitment, Selection, and Compensation and Benefits: ***AMAZON is the organization***
Propose how the organization should recruit and select the change agent required to bring about and support the proposed change in the primary division or department. Specifically identify the interview and assessment processes or tools you propose using.
Focus the proposal to address suitable compensation and benefits for the desired change agent. Make sure to include both financial and nonfinancial incentives.
Human Resource Practices: Onboarding and Learning and Development: ***AMAZON is the organization***
Propose how the organization should efficiently onboard the change agent in order to bring about the proposed change that will affect the primary organizational division or department identified.
Refer to the five steps in the learning and development process articulated in Figure 9.3 in the Topic 7 assigned readings. Focus the proposal to develop the change agent through learning and development practices.
Human Resource Practices: Performance Management and Employee Relations: ***AMAZON is the organization***
Refer to the four steps in the performance management process articulated in Figure 9.4 in the Topic 7 assigned readings. Propose how the organization should approach performance management in order to support the change that will be brought about by the change agent.
Explain how the proposed efforts may impact change agent performance and relations to bring about the proposed change that will affect the primary organizational division or department identified. If your organization is focusing on employees who are part of a union, be sure to touch on considerations pertaining to labor relations.

What does the organization’s website state about its view on ethics? Does the organization’s published view on ethical standards conform to or differ from its practice(s)? Review the “Four Approaches to Resolving Ethical Dilemmas,” located in your assigned textbook reading from Topic 1, to compare the company’s published versus practiced ethical behavior. Provide justification.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): ***AMAZON is the organization***
Building upon your “Ethics” assessment above, what CSR perspectives or strategies does it appear the organization is currently adopting. Refer to the CSR strategies and perspectives provided in the topic Resources and your textbook readings (i.e., Topic 2: MGT Chapter 3 and Topic 7: Learning Module 1). Provide a recommendation on how the organization can behave in a socially responsible manner to create a competitive advantage for the organization as it meets the stakeholders’ needs.
Integration of Faith, Learning, and Work – CWV: All individuals have a worldview. An individual’s faith-based perspective/worldview influences that person’s decisions, values, and perceptions. It also affects how an individual manages people (or thinks they should be managed). For this assignment, this requirement relates to the worldview of the presenters, not the organizations.
How did the CWV perspective inform your team’s handling of the problem and/or the proposed change?
Review the “Statement on the Integration of Faith and Work” and the “Christian Worldview Belief Statements” documents, both located in the Topic 7 Resources, outlining the integration of faith, learning, and work. Based on these resources, you are required to integrate the Christian worldview (CWV) component in the presentation.
Using a minimum of two relevant Bible verses in total, explain how at least two of these CWV perspectives relate to the proposed change.
Peer Evaluations
Students must submit their peer evaluations before midnight on the due date of this assignment. The feedback from the peer evaluation will be used to determine individual grades on this CLC assignment by prorating the team grade. General Requirements
You are required to use at least four external scholarly sources, in addition to the textbook, to provide evidence. The rationale should be justified; this should not be completed based on an opinion. One of the sources should directly relate to the company discussed in the presentation and one to the comparison organization. These sources must be cited in text (parenthetically within the presentation), not just provided as references at the end of the presentation.
Additionally, robust and detailed speaker notes, located within the PowerPoint presentation in the designated slide field, are required to support and explain the bullet points in each slide. Include scholarly support to validate your position and be sure to cite any charts or graphs included in your presentation and speaker notes.
