You do need the prewrap so that you can get the tape job off of your volunteer and show it to the video at the end. I would recommend practicing several times before you video. You can do as many videos as you would like and submit the one that you think is best. The video should include the entire taping process from start (positioning the ankle) to finish (showing the cut off tape at the end to see if there are any gaps in the tape job.
