This job is for 3 papers that are not difficult at all and is not as bad as it looks. My husband was in hospital so I am way behind. Paper One is due in 24 hours, Paper Two is due in 48 and Paper Three in 72 hours. There must be zero plagiarism and all sources must be good. They build upon each other so I thought it’d be best to have one person work on them all. They need introductions and conclusions. I will do the abstracts.
The field is conflict resolution and mediation. The class is Scholarly Argument II. The topic or very loose research question is “In light of the current enforcement of US laws against forced labor in imported goods and services, would it be beneficial for the US government and US corporations to mediate corporate changes in supply chains instead of seeking legal recourse. BUT you can find any way to change that question depending upon what you find in your sources.
Any resources having to do with conflict resolution/mediation, US government use of mediation, US government anti-human trafficking, corporate supply chain. Also, any sources actually pertaining to the assignments: for example, qualitative, quantitative and mixed methods sources are needed for paper 2. And/or any other sources you need to prove your points.
In the instructions below “Assignment Overview” shows where the professor is going. “Written Assignment Instructions” is exactly what should be addressed in each paper. Please be thorough.
You get the idea. I’ll be available most of the next three days to help with questions. Thanks so much!!
PAPER ONE:
Written Assignment Instructions:
In a paper of at least 1,500 words (not including title, abstract, and reference pages), provide background information to explain your research topic and the relevance of the topic to your field of study, citing scholarly sources and institutional or organizational statistics to support your thinking. Focus on the over-arching topic you researched during Scholarly Argument I or that you identified at the beginning of this class. Then, describe the potential importance of a study to address the research question you identified. Include in your statement of importance the following:
- Provide background information to explain your research topic and the relevance of the topic to your field of study.
- Focus on the over-arching topic to explain what topic you want to study and why.
- Discuss why your research question is relevant and how the question relates to the over-arching topic.
- Discuss how results from a study to answer your research question may contribute to theory, knowledge, understanding, and/or practice in your field of study, and how study results might be used by practitioners and scholars.
- Identify any knowledge gaps that could be addressed by answering your proposed research question.
Support your arguments with references to at least five different scholarly articles (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings. Include title, abstract, and reference pages in your paper.
PAPER TWO:
Assignment Overview:
Choosing a research approach will determine the kind of outcome your study yields. For example, imagine you were interested in studying a mentoring program for nursing students. A qualitative study of the mentoring program might result in data that addresses nursing students’ perceptions of the mentoring program and how they describe their own participation in the program and their relationship with their mentor. Contrast this with a quantitative study on the same topic. A quantitative study might explore the relationship between nursing-student satisfaction with the mentoring program and their success in clinical classes. In the first example, qualitative data would reveal a rich synthesis of information about the experiences and perceptions of nursing students. The quantitative study would provide statistical information about the correlation between student satisfaction with the mentoring program and his or her subsequent academic achievement.
Both types of studies—quantitative and qualitative—would produce potentially interesting information that could be used by scholars and practitioners to understand the impact of a mentoring program for nursing students. However, the different study outcomes answer different research questions and yield different types of data. Which study is more valuable? That can’t be answered, because both studies have merit. A researcher must determine his or her objectives for a study and the use of potential data prior to choosing either a quantitative or a qualitative research design. This assignment challenges you to think about your own research topic and proposed question and how the topic and question could best be studied, quantitatively or qualitatively.
Written Assignment Instructions:
In a paper of at least 1,700 words (not including title, abstract, and reference pages), describe how your research topic and question could be studied both quantitatively and qualitatively. In your paper, demonstrate your understanding of quantitative and qualitative research approaches by discussing the following:
- How the two research approaches (quantitative and qualitative) would lead to different types of studies with potentially different research questions
- The types of data each study approach (quantitative and qualitative) would yield
- The kinds of conclusions that could be reached in each type of study (quantitative and qualitative)
- The advantages and disadvantages of each research approach (quantitative and qualitative) in answering your proposed research question
- The approach (quantitative or qualitative) that you believe would be best to answer your research question and the justification for your decision
Support your arguments with references to at least three different scholarly articles (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings. Include title, abstract, and reference pages in your paper.
PAPER THREE:
Assignment Overview:
Researchers have a fundamental responsibility to ensure ethical practices and research integrity in any study they undertake. This Includes following the guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA) as codified in the APA Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct. However, ethical practices in research go beyond simply following a code of conduct and include respect for participants and integrity in the research process itself. Each researcher must ensure that his or her research harms no one and is conducted with the utmost attention to truthfulness, honesty, sincerity, and authenticity.
As a graduate student researcher, you will be required to complete training on the protection of human subjects in your research-planning courses, and you will be bound to follow both the APA guidelines and the research practices outlined in your human subjects’ protection training course. In addition, you must have a thorough understanding of the kinds of errors that researchers can make, as well as the kinds of shortcuts some researchers decide to take, so that you can avoid such ethical lapses. The purpose of this assignment is to help you better understand the kinds of challenges that you may face in conducting an ethical research study and learn how to overcome such challenges.
Written Assignment Instructions:
In a paper of at least 2,000 words (not including title, abstract, and reference pages), demonstrate your understanding of best practices in ethical research from the literature by constructing your own set of recommendations that would help graduate student researchers comply with APA ethical guidelines and avoid common mistakes and shortcomings of conducting research with human subjects. Include in your recommendations ways of ensuring the safety and security of participants as well as protecting participants’ confidentiality and the confidentiality of their data. You may write your recommendations as bullet points, as long as you elaborate on each bullet point to demonstrate your understanding of ethical principles and practices, APA ethical guidelines, and ways of protecting participants in research studies.
Finally, apply your set of recommendations to your proposed research study. What kinds of ethical issues might you face if you were to undertake this study? What kinds of protections might you need to put into place to ensure the confidentiality and protection of your study participants?
Support your arguments with references to at least three different scholarly articles (academic journal articles) in addition to any required course readings you reference. Include title, abstract, and reference pages in your paper.
