* There is a conceptual definition in here somewhere. You are making this far too complicated. A conceptual definition should be a clear, one-sentence explanation of your construct in relatively understandable language, based on cited sources. This needs to be much more concise and precise.

* Had the first sentence of the thing you are calling your operational definition was followed by a source citation, that is all that was needed here. Your operational definition could be more straightforward and clear. An operational definition is simply ONE sentence that mentions a specific research instrument and gives a source citation (in correct APA style) as to where that research instrument can be located. Nothing more. You have made this far too complicated.

* You have some EXCELLENT ideas for future research topics. Your first question is really two questions. Is your third question asking what strategies I would use??? Don’t write in the second person (“you”) voice unless you mean to directly address your reader. Your fifth question is a little too broad — you could focus on RQs that ask about specific characteristics that may or may not contribute to the development of emotional intelligence.

* This needed to be in more correct APA style. Use Times New Roman 12-point font. The heading “References” should be in bold. Use a hanging indent for your reference list. There appears to be extra line space between your references — check for sure, because that shouldn’t be there. Everything should be double spaced, never more and never less. (2003) source that you copied and pasted into your list of references contains quite a few errors (the “&” in the middle of the list of authors happens when sources are copied-and-pasted. Using a citation generator is fine, but you MUST edit your sources to make sure you fix mistakes, otherwise those mistakes become your responsibility. These are examples of APA errors — there may be more here. Edit for APA style more carefully.

* Unfortunately, none of your sources are from scholarly journals in the communication studies discipline. This was discussed extensively in the assignment instructions and in my discussion of searching the communication studies literature. You have sources from sociology, education, psychology, etc., but you were not asked to review those bodies of literature. This is a problem because it means I can’t count any of your sources as meeting the minimum assignment requirements.

* Unfortunately, this means that you did not fulfill the minimum assignment requirement of EIGHT communication journal article reports of research conducted by communication scholars.
