For this discussion question, we want you to select one athlete from contemporary global sport (any athlete in the world) and develop a synopsis for a short story that you might loosely base on the athlete’s life. In other words, take the biographical (the actual story of the athlete’s life) and turn it into fiction (something you make up) to provide a sketch of what might become a compelling short story. Describe the setting, the plot, the tone or mood, and any other pertinent literary elements. Remember, make sure to meet the minimum word count!
