A written, 10-15 page event planning document, SEPARATED THROUGHOUT USING HEADERS, which includes consideration of: (Week 4)
A TITLE PAGE in correct APA style (look it up)
Event Description with the who, what, when, where, and event objectives
Individual Headers as needed which match the headers provided in the project part 1 worksheet
Any other additional applicable categories (you can add any other headers you need in order to cover more items that may be specific to the event you are creating, but you do not necessarily have to)
An APPENDIX section in correct APA Style (look it up) which includes (Label them correct, Appendix A, etc.):
Appendix A: The event budget spreadsheet (with costs and revenue projections)
This was required in Assignment 2 in week 3
Here is a sample budget spreadsheet to build from
This is not an event specific spreadsheet, but a team specific one. You will need to make the adjustments in it to build it for your event, but it will get you started and save you valuable time in formatting.
Note that this one was a 3-year team projection: you are only doing a single event projection, not an estimate of your event over multiple executions (years) of it.
In the paper, include only the budget, not the worksheet portion
Appendix B: A Sample Event Title Sponsorship Proposal
This was required in Assignment 1 in week 2
Use only items 3-5 on the Assignment 1 worksheet. Clean this up into a simple one page Title Sponsorship Proposal identifying the potential partner, the deliverables, and the value. Make sure to be extremely descriptive concerning all of the deliverables to be provided to the partner sponsor (#s, amounts, etc. e.g., 6 pa announcements during the event, a hospitality tent for 50 guests at the event including alcohol and finger foods, etc.)
Appendix C: An Event Day Checklist
This was required in Assignment 3 in week 4
For this checklist, based on the sections of your actual paper and the needs of your event, you will modify the following checklist (adding/deleting items) to create an appropriate event day checklist for your event
Appendix D: One page, labeled “Personal Reaction”, that details your personal reactions, thoughts, and overall evaluation of the project, etc., highlighting the areas that stood out most to you during the creation of this event. This is a non-academic section that’s just giving you an opportunity to write in 1st person to discussion the project itself, the event, things you learned or questioned, things you still don’t understand about running events, etc. Please shoot for ¾ to one full page on this, not just 2-5 sentences.
A REFERENCES section in correct APA Style (again, look this up to make sure it is correctly done)
Note: This is to be saved in the format 4104-jsmith-project-part-3, where j is replaced by your first initial and smith is replaced by your last name. This file was created in project-part-1 and so should have already been saved correctly. This is just a reminder.
