Infographic
First, choose a region (or regions) that we have covered during the course (Let’s use Europe). Next, select a specific environmental, political, economic, and/or social issue in that region. You will then create an infographic on that issue.
Infographics are visual representations of data and information that are simplified and expressed in forms of graphics — images, icons, symbols, charts, tables, timelines, and maps. The purpose of infographics is to deliver knowledge in clear, quick, and intuitive ways to readers. You can create your infographic using the blank PowerPoint template that is available on Canvas or any appropriate template you find online (just Google: “free infographic template”).
An effective infographic poster should be a) informative, b) easy to understand, and c) aesthetically pleasant. Please note, I am not looking for an overly elaborate infographic, but it needs to convey what social, political, economic, environmental, etc. issue you selected and highlight key points.
Please submit your infographic in pptx format
— SPECIFIC DETAILS —
In your infographic, please be sure to:
Clearly identify the region(s) you are engaging with for this paper.
Define and make clear the issue that you are highlighting.
Highlight some of the impacts of these issues: environmental, political, economic, social, cultural, etc. (For instance, if I completed this assignment on Thailand’s fishing industry, I could highlight how important this industry is to the country’s GDP, how it attracts migrant workers from SE and South Asia, has negatively impacted the biodiversity of the region’s waters, has resulted in slave labor and human rights abuses, etc.)
On your infographic, don’t forget to include:
A title for your infographic
Your name
The selected issue
Statistics, facts, and/or maps related to your issue
