1.   During the Pre-Renaissance era, artworks commonly served as mediums for religious contemplation, with their creators often remaining anonymous. This tradition of artistic anonymity was dramatically transformed during the Renaissance, a period that started giving recognition to the artist. This shift was influenced by a renewed interest in classical ideologies, which not only celebrated the human form and its expressions but also placed the artist at the center of creative endeavors.  Consequently, the immaculate quality of Renaissance art, characterized by its intense attention to detail and unique styles, really showed the artist’s skill and individuality, making it impossible to overlook their abilities.

     Michelangelo’s "David" stands as an example of this transformation; it exemplifies the idea of the artist as an individual genius through its beauty by the demonstration of Michelangelo’s mastery over marble. The role of assistants and apprentices in Renaissance workshops further highlights how the period fostered an environment conducive to recognizing and celebrating artistic skill and innovation, marking a significant departure from the previous ages.

2.  I think the artist of the Renaissance that bring change are the ones who bring different styles of art and and the improving painting tools. It is the incredible quality of the art that makes the artist have changed throughout the Renaissance. In the workshop, an apprentice assisted the master closely to learn the trade. They require less hands-on training than assistants, and could travel far from their home city in search for temporary work and were of ten brought in for specific commissions.

The piece of art I chose is the Three Ages of  Woman and death. The artist is a genius because in this piece of art shows the way of life. We are young then we get old and most people fight not dying. I have never seen a piece of art like this but it was very interesting to learn about it.
