1. Record each shift that you work in rows 8–onwards. You should continue recording your hours in the same document since your last logbook submission. For each day worked enter the date, clock in/out times, total time you worked that day, total time you’ve worked so far this semester, activities, etc.
2. For text fields write 3 or more complete sentences. Do not cut and paste your answers in the text fields. You will need to write up a unique response for each entry to show your deep thought, reflection, and application of your internship experiences.
3. While your internship is ongoing, submit your logbook via the relevant Canvas assignment page. Remember that you must document all the hours that you are receiving units for. (# of internship units x 50 hours = the number of hours you need to document.) Failure to complete and document all required hours will result in a No Credit (NC) grade for these internship units.

TIPS on Portfolio Items

Portfolio items are things produced by you which could potentially be included in your professional portfolio. Portfolio items should illustrate your developing skills, abilities, and accomplishments. They should be of excellent quality in both content and appearance. They should be things that you’d be proud to show a potential employer. Portfolio items may include (but are not limited to):

• brochures
• flyers
• reports
• articles
• PowerPoint decks
• analyses (qualitative, quantitative)
• meeting minutes
• blog posts
• tweets
• videos
• audio recordings
