Overview
Two occupations in design, Lighting and Sound are behind-the-scenes essential elements to the Theatre and bring the production to life. We, as audience members need to see and hear the actors as a form of communication, but it involves so much more.

View the tabs for Lighting Designer and Sound Designer
Use a media upload or text entry summarizing two key points of the video or occupation that you choose.
Post in the discussion the value of one or both of the designers in a theatrical production. Include 2 points of evidence and personal experiences to back up your statements.
Guidelines and What to Include in Your Post
- Discuss in at least 10 – 12 complete sentences (for either media upload, or text submission)
- Make sure your introduction starts a new thread not responding to another to begin
- Responding to others on the Discussion Thread
Provide a 2 – 3 sentence thoughtful response to at least two other persons in this class
Your comment should be on a post that does not yet have 2 replies
Your written or media response shows that you have read their introduction and comment about what they have shared.
Relate your own experiences if you recognize or relate.
