With the spread of COVID-19 worldwide during the pandemic and shutdown of universities, higher education institutions have deemed it necessary to adopt online teaching. Many universities since then have increased the use of online teaching because of many reasons, however online teaching has still many obstacles and challenges although online teaching platforms provide a wealth of learning resources and powerful interactive functions. In reality, most students go no further than the primary stage of browsing lecture material, participating in required discussions, and completing their homework assignments, etc. In fact, the frequency of exchanges between teachers and students (and among students) is still considered low, and the curriculum’s social, academic, and perspective levels are still not that high.

Therefore, you are required to study the implications of using online teaching on providing state-of the art education to university students and to cultivate and develop quality education and lifelong education for all and whether online teaching has an impact on student’s academic achievements. You need to identify the pros and cons of the use of online teaching in higher education and research this area in depth and providing recommendations on the best way to use of online learning in it in the future.

The study should not exceed 10 pages maximum and need to follow the general guidelines of a research project. The paper should include an abstract, introduction, review of the literature, review of the current use of online learning, methodology, findings & results, discussion, conclusion, and references. You need to make sure that you include correctly cited references to avoid plagiarism rules.
