It is important to understand that case studies are not a summation of something or someone. But any analysis and determination of point. In your studies, you should be analyzing entrepreneurial paths, successes, and failures of your chosen subject.

Here are the 4 Case Study Topics:

1. An Entrepreneurial Individual of your choice (ie Elon Musk, Jeff Koons or Kanye West). This is a dive into how their entrepreneurial journey started, sets backs, and successes.

2. A Small Business of your choice, whether it is a friend’s business or a small business that inspires you. (ex. Candylab toys, CW&T, small design consultancy’s) These are usually bootstrapped lifestyle business (ie it’s part of your life and live to work vs work to live)

3. A Large Start-Up, from Instagram to Telsa they are the news makers and the companies VC’s dream about.

4. Or Non-Profit / NGO, B-Corp (for-profit with social good), or Community Organization or Initiative.

5. Your own Business Idea Pitch Deck and Executive Summary. Along with a live pitch to real judges.
