1. Find an ad for a job that you could reasonably get after finishing your Bachelor’s degree. This ad needs to have been posted recently. Your ad should be in English, or you must be able to provide me with a complete translation of the ad.
2. Save this ad or take a screenshot of it because it is the one that you will write your resume and cover letter for later in this unit.
3. Analyze the ad like the ones in the video. Do some research about the company or organization posting the ad. Check out the Mission Statement and About Us pages on their website.
4. Write a paragraph about what you have learned about the company and what you think they are looking for in an employee. Be careful not to copy information directly from the website. Discuss how you can write your cover letter and resume to match what the company is looking for.
5. Submit your paragraph and a copy of the ad to Canvas.

Alternative: If you would like to write a resume and personal statement (for graduate school) , you may find a prompt for a personal statement from a graduate school that you are planning to apply to and analyze that and the university/department instead.

Your paragraph should be about 2/3 of a page double-spaced (about 200 words).
