Grade Proposal
The goal of this assignment is to reflect on what you have learned this semester and make a case for the course letter grade that you feel you have earned. I will read your self-assessments and take all of your analysis into account before assigning a final course grade.

Please answer the following questions in your self-assessment. You are invited to submit your self-assessment in a way that is authentic to you (see Submission details below):
What letter grade would you give yourself in this class? Answer each of the following questions and use these answers as evidence to support your reasoning:
What have you learned about yourself as a learner? As a creator of history? As a witness to current events?
Reflect on the content and assignments offered in this class. How much time and effort did you put forth? Do you feel like you took away meaningful skills, ideas, etc.? When answering these questions please address the following:

Analyze how power and bias operates in society, through the categories of race, class, gender, ethnicity, and sexuality.
Develop and support an argument or thesis statement with historical evidence.
