Research the security breach you wish to focus on. Provide the Name of the company that suffered a security breach and the date it occurred. Any breach within the last 5 years is acceptable.

The idea will be to pick a recent security breach that provides you enough data to build a report that would outline:

High-Level Description of Security Breach (What was it? what was the impact?)

Detailed on how the Breach occurred –  this should be a description of the Network/Deployment scenario and a  step by step illustration of how the breach occurred.   It should  highlight the gaps found in the environment that the attackers  exploited. 

A detailed description of the Events that occurred at the company during the incident. 

Description of the changes made to the  company network/security/policies/practices that will make sure this  does not happen again.  This should include equipment bought, costs  impact,  changes to processes or practices etc. 

Any additional future recommendations to the Board on improving other security areas
