Title: This assignment is also aimed at helping you get your Final Term Paper done (that is due on Saturday 5/25/24), to prevent you from leaving it all to the last minute? AND make your job easier the last week of the semester!
For this assignment you need to write a one-two page rough draft of your Final Term paper, with an emphasis on rough.
Goal and Purpose
The goal of this assignment is to motivate you to get working on your Final Term Paper.
Directions/Instructions
To complete this assignment you MUST follow these steps:
In preparation for your Final Term Paper, you are to write a rough draft of your Term Paper, at least one, but not more than two pages (approximately 500 – 700 words), on the topic you have already chosen. You can write this anyway that you like, meaning there is no particular format required for the organization of your paragraphs, and you will NOT be graded on APA formatting, however, you still need to include at least two in-text citations in your rough draft (more in your term paper), when referencing the articles that you are choosing to discuss. As you know, you should always cite/reference your textbook, whenever you use supportive content from your textbook, with or without quotes.
So, again, keep in mind that for this assignment, it’s mostly your content/thought process that I am interested in. Having said that, the closer you get to APA format, the less work you will have left to do as far as formatting when it’s time to submit your Final Term Paper.
IMPORTANT:
As you write the rough draft of your paper, make sure that:
• Your work demonstrates understanding of the related material, and your textbook content (be sure to cite the textbook). (4 points)
• Your work demonstrates critical thinking. (4 points)
• Your submission is specific, thorough, and thoughtful. (4 points)
• You include strong and relevant supporting arguments. (4 points)
• You include at least two peer-reviewed in-text citations (in addition to your textbook references), as you would for an APA formatted paper. (2 points)
• Your writing is free of mistakes (1 point)
• Your writing is within the word count limit
