The purpose of this first written assignment is to provide an overview of your selected clinical experience. The paper should be about two to three pages in length.

This assignment requires you to write learning objectives. Review the short video How to Write Learning Objectives Using Bloom’s Taxonomy“. For more information, please review Blooms taxonomy action verbs.

Introduce your choice of clinical setting, leadership track, and proposed project. (My clinical setting is with People with Developmental Disabilities living in a group home. My preceptor is an Infection Control Nurse) 

Provide the rationale for your choice.

Include two to three student-defined learning objectives for the clinical experience. (These will also be included on the clinical evaluation form.) (Learning objectives: 1. Developing and Implementing Infection Control Policies and Procedures. 2. Educating healthcare workers, patients, and the community on infection prevention strategies).
