The two I chose was the Proclamation of 1773 and the Boston Massacre. I would say the Boston Massacre has more of a significance. It had a major impact on relations between Britain and the American colonists. It caused colonists weary of the British rule and unfair taxation and roused them to fight for independence. “Now known as the Boston Massacre, the incident was the culmination of five years of violence that had been occurring in Boston and other major colonial towns since the enactment of the Stamp Act in 1765” (Arrison, 2008).
