I was asking if you could provide the last screenshot which is synchronized users in Entra ID. This is what my professor said below. You were successful in completing most of the technical tasks of this project. The Windows server was installed properly, the Active Directory domain was set up sufficiently. However, the last screenshot was missing which shows a list of the synchronized users in Entra ID. This screenshot validates that you were successful in setting up Azure AD Connect on the VM.
You may resubmit this project with the missing screenshot of your synced users in the Entra ID portal for credit for rubric item 11.2.1.
I like how you added a properties parameter to the Get-ADUser filter. This shows an advanced skillset in PowerShell. The output of the users shows an incorrect UPN. This indicates that the user.csv was not updated with the correct domain name CMIT382MP.
Configure device options’ is an important additional task in AAD Connect. As you mentioned, you can enable device writeback. This is a requirement for using Windows Hello for Business for Windows 10. Hello for Business allows users to unlock their desktops/laptops with face recognition and other methods.
In my experience, many organizations will utilize the Entra ID/AAD for SSO instead of switching it to another IDP. My current employer used Shibboleth for SSO but the lack of support for some of the authentication protocols required for device management led us to switch to Entra ID. We currently use Entra ID with Pass-through authentication.
