For your Behavioral Neuroscience Research Paper you will investigate and report on a biologically based psychological disorder chosen from those provided.
Your paper should be 6-8 pages (double-spaced) in length and contain a minimum of 5 scholarly sources. Of your 5 sources at least 3 should be peer-reviewed articles from online library.
Your final paper should cover the following areas:
Description of disorder
What is experienced by the individual (i.e., symptoms)?
Average age of onset
Prevalence
Etiology
Genetics/Biological
Environmental
Discussion of the relationship between biology and environmental factors in the development of this disorder
Diagnostic criteria (Use the DSM 5)
Biological based treatment(s)
Other treatments
Short and long term prognosis
