Original assignment description
Chapter 4 discusses the importance of Multicultural Practice. When working with diverse clients in a clinical setting, it is important to note the impacts of oppression and lack of social justice as a part of their overall assessment as discussed in Chapter 3. Chapter 4 lists a variety of Theoretical Models of Treatment that can be beneficial to consider depending upon the background and need of the client making it important to understand that there are different ways for intervening with individuals, groups, families, and communities that have varying cultural experiences.
Furthermore, the NASW Code of Ethics requires Cultural Competence in that social workers “should obtain education about and demonstrate understanding of the nature of social diversity and oppression with respect to race, ethnicity, national origin, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, marital status, political belief, religion, immigration status, and mental or physical ability”.
Using the information learned in chapters 3 & 4 as well as the Case of Pan discussed in the text. Apply that knowledge to this assignment and provide your responses in APA format. Make sure to cite and support what applications you used form the text or other sources.

4) Research a theoretical model of treatment that might be effective in working with your interviewee using the information gathered from your Culturagram.
