Task:

Write a cover letter: Content: The reflective letter clearly demonstrates the writer’s identity and progress as a writer. The letter makes an argumentative claim about the student’s strengths, areas for improvement, and development as an academic researcher and writer throughout the course. The writer refers to key course concepts (genre, audience, writing process, research, etc.) to describe their development as a researcher and writer. The letter provides sufficient evidence to support the writer’s claims based on their semester work (specifically Writing Project 3). The reflective letter describes areas of improvement the writer is planning to focus on in the future and how they will apply the knowledge gained in this class to other writing situations and tasks.
