Report Options:
- Write a two-page review report on any real estate appraisal. You can either review an appraisal you found or one that is uploaded in this class. You also have option of writing an appraisal report with three comps from a website (Zillow, Redfin, etc) and using the excel spread sheet or PDF with the URAR form. You can leave blank any item you do not know but must have three comps. You fill out the form the best you can. The URAR blank excel or PDF form is under bonus material in Canvas Module.
- Interview a professional real estate appraiser and type the questions and answers
- Produce a five-minute video with a licensed residential real estate appraiser discussing the appraisal profession. Post the video on YouTube and provide a link under Reports in Canvas.
- Produce a five-minute video of yourself showing students how you will use the HP-12c financial calculator to help you solve real estate math problems. Post the video on YouTube and provide a link under Reports in Canvas. Or you may create an Excel Sheet with four or more of the math formulas/equations we discussed in the book. Then write in the excel what each formula is and a few sentences explaining the formulas purpose.
