Grading Criteria, Take-Home Mid-term and Final Examinations:
Each examination will consist of questions that are contained in this syllabus to allow students to gather the information needed to prepare an answer for each of the four questions he or she selects. The minimum length is two pages for each response and a total of eight pages for the exam.
Students are encouraged to use outside resources for the exam questions. All answers should meet acceptable standards of grammar and structure.
Students should review the following guidelines:
1. Students should select four questions to answer for each exam.
2. When preparing your answers you should:
A. Clearly identify which question you are answering in your title page.
B. Introduce your response with a 50-75 word summary of your main points.
C. Prepare an answer of 500 -750 words in paragraph form.
D. The use of references is welcomed but not required. If references are utilized, citations should be presented in APA style.
E. Begin each of your four responses with a separate title page.
F. Exams are due by midnight, June 4, 2022 and July 2, 2022 respectively. A five point penalty will be assessed for exams submitted more than 48 hours after the due date. A ten point penalty will be assessed for exams submitted more than ten days after the due date. In the case of the final exam, an extension from the Dean’s Office is required after the Session ends. A fifteen point penalty will be assessed for exams submitted more than twenty-one days after the due date.
